Derby Georgian Choir

Come and sing beautiful Georgian harmonies in Derby. The Georgian Choir is a small group of people who love to sing songs from the Georgian Caucasus. Songs are taught by Beth de Lange, who also leads Kaleidoscope Community Choir, Rough Truffles Community Choir and The Chevin Singers. She set up this choir so that she could sing more Georgian songs with other Georgian harmony lovers, without them taking over the repertoire of the community choirs (although they do sing one or two Georgian songs!). The choir welcomes new members or one off visits.

Our venue is Derby New Church, Horwood Ave, Derby DE23 6AN (just off Burton Road, near the outer ring road).

For enquiries, phone Beth 07837 671 988 or email beth (at) kaleidoscope-music.org.uk

We meet once per month from 2 til 5pm. The choir meeting dates for Spring 2012 are:

  • Sunday 22nd January
  • Sunday 26th February
  • Sunday 18th March

Cost is £10 full price price £8 concessions. Tea and biscuits are included.

We also have a learning cd with some of our repertoire on it for new members who'd like learn some songs before coming to the group.
